Today Xay has worked extremely hard to understand and use a new division strategy. I was very proud of the way he persisted to get the problems done. It was great to see him really trying, he is a lot better at maths then he thinks he is. Well done Xay. Keep up the persisting when things are hard!

Xay has been working on adding numbers using place value. This is where he adds the tens to the tens, ones to the ones etc. Here is his work from today, Mr A is very proud of him for persisting on these and being open-minded to help.

hunting

One day I woke up and it was time to go hunting so we went hunting. It was a long trip so we played games when Dad was driving the car. When we got there we unpacked the car and set up camp. Then we went hunting we got nothing so the next day we took the motorbikes. It was fun and we got 1 pig and a half.Then the next day we went home. Mum calls it tramping for nothing but this time we got some thing.
